The Making of KarmaLove

Crafted with Intention in Kathmandu

Where It Begins: The Finest Cashmere

Every KarmaLove scarf begins with the finest certified cashmere yarns, sourced from the soft undercoat of goats living in the high plateaus of Inner Mongolia. These ultra-fine fibers — just 15.5 microns in diameter — are carefully collected through traditional combing methods, in alignment with ethical and traceable sourcing standards such as GOTS, GCS, RWS, and Traceable Cashmere.

A Family Workshop in Kathmandu

Once the raw yarns arrive in Nepal, they enter the heart of our creation process: a small, family-run workshop in Kathmandu. This workshop has been passed down through generations — not a factory in the industrial sense, but a place where human hands and timeless values guide each step.

Weaving, Dyeing, and Printing

Here, the yarns are transformed into our signature scarves using traditional machinery operated by skilled artisans. Each piece is then individually dyed using certified azo-free dyes from Switzerland, chosen for their safety and colorfastness.

When the color is right, each scarf is hand-printed using a traditional screen-printing technique. This is where intention becomes visible — each quote, each blessing, is placed with care, becoming part of the fabric’s message.

From Thread to Blessing

From the loom to the label, from the first thread to the final fold, every KarmaLove piece is made with connection, precision, and purpose.

This is not fast fashion. This is soul-crafted textile — a process that honors the land, the people, and the wearer.
